Gross value added of agricultural output


Definition:

The diffrence between gross output and intermediate consumption.



Intermediate consumption includes the value of agricultural products from own production, utilized for production purpose, as well as the purchase of materials (including fuels), energy, outside services (external processing, agricultural, veterinary, insemination and transport services, current repairs, telecommunications services, commissions paid for banking services), financial intermediation services indirectly measured (FISIM), costs of businenn travel (excluding data regarding private farms) and other costs (e.g. insurance, rentals and leasing).
