Building owned by housing cooperative

Definition:

A building fully owned by a housing cooperative and in which there is no separate ownership of premises by another entity.

In case of singly family building (built by housing cooperative, a cooperative association of single family houses ora cooperatives with a different name), the actual legal status of the building must be determined in the so-called critical moment of the statistical survey. If the ownership of the building has been transferred in the form of a notarial deed to a member of cooperative, the natural person is regarded as the owner of the building, not the cooperative. If the right to the building has not yet been legally transferred to a member of the cooperative, the housing cooperative is considered as the owner.
